Malaysia is home to the world’s finest pewter and Royal Selangor is its most well known name. The Factory Tour shows you ‘live’ the different pewter production processes - casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving, as well as the intricacies of making fine jewellery.
The Royal Selangor ‘School of Hard Knocks’, is an entertaining hour-long pewtersmithing workshop where for a small fee participants are taught to create their own pewter dish using traditional tools and methods.

Dark Cave is the largest cave in the Batu Caves hill, the southernmost significant limestone outcrop on the mainland of Asia. The hill is located about 12km north of Kuala Lumpur, Peninsular Malaysia. Dark Cave was discovered in 1889. The entrance is located at step number 204 of the 272 steps leading up to Temple Cave. The cave consists of about 2 km of surveyed passages, making it the largest cave in the hill, and it comprises 7 chambers, each with its own special festures - stalagmite, stalactites, flowstone, cave pearls, curtain, column, etc.... These formations take thousands of years to form.
